Early in his career, Andy Donovan was a Senior Editor and Producer for several local production companies. In 2000 he opened dPost, and the once three person operation that focused solely on post production has come a long way. Andy has received numerous awards for his entrepreneurial accomplishments and community service. Outside of dPost, Andy enjoys traveling with Beth and their two teenage sons, as well as entertaining and gardening at their Hamburg home.
Beth Donovan “officially” joined the company in 2012 after a 25-year career in Public Relations. In addition to helping hubby manage the day-to-day, she wears a variety of hats for dStudio projects including as producer, casting director, writer and production designer. Beth volunteers for a number of organizations including St. Francis High School and the Family Justice Center. She loves to travel, entertain, rock out to Journey and pretend she owns a villa in Tuscany with a pet panda.
Cale Switzer is a lifelong musician. After graduating from the University at Buffalo and spending four years in the local ad industry, he landed at dPost where he was able to fully utilize his skills in music and sound - receiving 9 Addy awards in 4 years at dPost. When an instrument is not in his hands, Cale loves hiking, mountain biking and exploring the outdoors with his wife.
Carl Critoph started as an intern in 2006 and knew he found his passion in editing and didn’t want to leave. Lucky for him he didn’t need to, and was hired in 2007. Since joining the dPost family he has enjoyed countless awards and has grown into color grading and motion graphics. When Carl isn’t editing he is sharpening his negotiation skills with his two young children. They are winning.
Debbie Roth has a long-time career in the accounting field and joined dPost in 2007. Deb enjoys the opportunities when she can step out of the financial office to make use of the dPost kitchens to make pretty little desserts for clients and visitors to dPost. When not adding numbers and making treats for dPost, she volunteers for the Women of the Moose adding numbers and making pretty little desserts.
Evan Pease wants the world to have more music, less traffic, extra queso, and no mosquitos. Ever. When he’s not writing in the third person, Evan keeps busy making award-winning short films and industry-recognized advertising, hosting workshops at SXSW and trivia nights at local pubs. Meanwhile, his wonderful wife, daughter, and dogs keep him humble and happy.
Greg Wichlacz's 30-year experience in strategic marketing, tactical advertising and branding is rooted in minimalist, Swiss-style design. Working as Creative Director in the corporate world, he's no stranger to multi-million dollar campaigns, broadcast video production, radio, print collateral, outdoor and more. He has brought his experience and talents to service clients of all sizes, giving each one the same attention to detail as the next.
Kelly O’Hara joins dPost after a long and diverse career in the entertainment industry with stops in Los Angeles, New York City, and Portland, Maine. She is currently focused on outreach and production. When not working, Kelly enjoys her small army of rescue animals, writing short stories and scripts that scare her friends, as well as taking to the ice … either with or without a hockey stick.
Mike Belin joined the dPost team in 2019 after 15+ years as an award-winning executive in the digital and multimedia marketing industry. Chances are, when you see Mike around town, he’ll have his iPhone in one hand and a dark roast coffee in the other. He and his wife, Chris, live in East Amherst with their two children - all of whom fail to correctly explain Common Core math to each other.
Peter Arcara joined dPost in 2015, and since then has helped to expand the company’s capabilities into VFX simulation. His responsibilities include motion graphics, 3D animation, and a variety of VFX-based tasks. Peter also has a background in graphic design, editing, and live production. He and his wife are involved with Let Them LOL, a non-profit operating in Sierra Leone, West Africa, and he is active in amateur astronomy.
An avid squeaky toy collector, Pippa protects dPost and dStudio from everything and anything - including solar flares and tiger attacks. How do we know? Well, we haven’t seen any tigers around here lately. Hailing from Hungary, Pippa is an international wonderdog who loves greeting the mail carrier, escorting studio tours, and napping through staff meetings.
Shannon Silva's role has evolved significantly from her first days as the receptionist at dPost. Today, she can often be found on set, calling the shots and keeping everyone in line as the production & studio manager. Not only is she an active board member for AAF Buffalo but she's the proud mother of dPost's Head of Security. And when it comes to football, she proudly proclaims she's "more of a tailgater than a fan."
Zach Zika received his BFA in Animation and Illustration from SUNY Fredonia. His foundation is traditional painting but he has evolved primarily as a motion graphic designer. Prior to dPost, Zach served as an Arts & Graphics Coordinator at Evolution Dental Science, in addition to working with numerous freelance clients creating branding, illustrations and animation. Zach enjoys the outdoors through kayaking, backpacking and playing rugby. He’s also into restoring vintage cars which includes his current project, a 1969 el Camino.
Zack Mineo grew up in Buffalo doing everything from playing sports outdoors to building computers with his brothers. He found his passion for 3D early on and uses any opportunity he has to keep learning. Zack loves the challenge of creating photorealistic renders and is always pushing to take things to the next level. When Zack isn’t working or outside playing frisbee, he's climbing the ranks in Overwatch.
